Truck Driver – Regional (+ Refresher Courses)

DETAILS
• Primarily Southern, Southwest and Midwest driving lanes
• Drivers will not run NYC or Canada
• Assigned trucks. Well-maintained Volvos and Freightliners with majority of trucks having APUs
• Drivers are home EVERY week (with driver option of being out 14 days)
• Over 90% no-touch driver-friendly freight
• Pre-Pass Plus

PAY & BENEFITS
• Start at $.37/mile
• Refresher Course: Drivers earn $600/week (1-3 weeks), then $.35-$.37/mile
• Additional stop pay and layover pay (if needed)

Averitt’s truck fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver positions. As a member of our driver team, you’ll have the opportunity to change your driving preferences as your career progresses, including a variety of truck driver and non-truck driver positions.

All truck drivers must meet the following to be considered for hire.
• CURRENT DRIVERS: 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer truck driver experience within past 3 years
• REFRESHER COURSE: 4 months verifiable TT experience in past 3 years or 1 year verifiable TT experience in past 5 years
• Must have Class-A Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A)
• Clean driving record
• No felony convictions
• No misdemeanors for theft or violence within the past 10 years
• No misdemeanors for drugs within the past 5 years
• Must meet all qualifications outlined in our truck driver application
